Uia Maori Pertforming Arts 
 
Uia Maori Pertforming Arts are having another fundraiser.    We are 
currrently raising money to purchase piupiu as we are currently 
practicing to compete at the Australian Kapa Haka Competion in 
Canberra March 2012.
Friday 2 September Balladura Tavern 322 Alexander Drive Balladura $15 door sales only Disco music and kareoke with Josephine Mathews Nibbles will be provided on the night. Disco theme so get your boogie shoes on and come on down.
 
Also if anyone is interested in joining our roopu, Nau Mai Haere 
Mai.  
 
We also have a very talented raranga artist from Toihoukura who has 
recently arrived in Perth and would like to know if anyone knows of a 
suitable flax type plant here in Perth that she can use to weave and 
dye.
